I have HP Pavilion laptop w a Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi Adapter network card/driver. My wifi router is a Jensen AirLink 7000 AC. I subscribe to a 200/20 Mbits/s connection from my internet provider. The problem is I only get about 80/20 Mbits/s on my HP laptop.

The speed is the same both through the wireless router and when I plug the cord directly to the card on my laptop. I have tested the connection on a different laptop (a Dell Latitude E7440), and the speed is 203/20 through the router.

My conclusion from these tests is that it's the Realtek network card in my HP that slows things down. I have updated to the latest drivers. Are there any settings I can change to solve the problem? Or do I need a new network card? Or maybe a new computerAny help will be most appreciated.
